Darshika and Hitesh

Owners of Ducklings Downingtown West

Meet the dynamic duo behind Ducklings Early Learning Center – Downingtown West: Hitesh and Darshika Sanghani. Proud residents of Chester County for over a decade, their journey is rooted in a shared passion for education, community, and nurturing young minds.

Hitesh has over 25 years of professional experience as a CPA, with a background spanning education and IT. Darshika complements this expertise with an MBA and more than 20 years of experience across higher education and the software industry. Together, they blend strong leadership, thoughtful management, and heartfelt care to create a supportive and enriching environment for children.

Their commitment to families extends well beyond the classroom. Both have actively volunteered in school PTOs and HOA initiatives, reflecting their deep investment in the community they call home. As parents themselves, they truly understand the importance of a child’s holistic development. Their daughter, Hunar, is pursuing premed studies at the University of Pittsburgh, while their son, Krishna, attends Great Valley High School.

Guided by their motto, “Nurturing Dreams, Cultivating Futures,” Hitesh and Darshika are dedicated to fostering a safe, inspiring space where every child can grow with confidence. Outside of Ducklings, Hitesh enjoys exploring his love of cooking, while Darshika brings people together through her talent for event planning—enriching their community both inside and beyond the learning center.

We are so happy and grateful for the positive experiences we continue to have with the Ducklings family. The teachers and team provide a warm, safe and developmentally appropriate learning environments for the kids. My son started there at 5 months, and the infant teachers have become an extended part of our own family. Their communication is wonderful and every day we feel grateful knowing our little one is in such great care. The teachers here continue to go above and beyond for their students. Their knowledge and experience can be seen day in and day out. We always feel connected to what they are learning and focusing on for any given day. The photos and videos provide my husband and I with the comfort we need to feel good about his care. Ducklings Downingtown is truly a community-based center and the events they hold create such a welcoming environment. We took part in our first holiday show there and had such a memorable time. Our in-laws were blown away with just how loving and personable everyone was. Our son is really seen there, and it can be felt immediately when you visit. I highly recommend this center, especially when making such a big decision about the quality of care for your child or children to receive. Thank you to such an amazing team and staff.

My daughter absolutely loves it at ducklings! She has been attending for almost a year since she was 10 months old and seems to adore all the staff, teachers and her little friends that she has made. It blows my mind how happy she is to leave in the morning to go to school, because she just loves it so much and obviously feels so safe and loved at ducklings! She has learned so much in her time at ducklings, and I am honestly so sad that she will be starting at another daycare soon due to my husband’s career change. My husband and I have felt so lucky to have had such a wonderful first daycare experience for our daughter and 10000% recommend ducklings to anyone who is lucky enough to have the opportunity to send their babies there!

Ducklings Downingtown has been a wonderful experience for our family. Our child was 3 going into preschool, turned 4 and has grown so much. His speech naturally became clearer, he can read all his letters and most numbers, and I am so impressed with his writing! The play time the children get to enjoy is helping him to make so many memories with wonderful little friends. I love the events that have been put on by Ducklings including my husband and I enjoying our very first Mother’s Day and Father’s Day in a school setting. Very special. I would recommend Ducklings to anyone who asks, from the kind and involved owners to the wonderful Director and a teacher who we will always hold close to our hearts. It makes our lives so easy that we can drop our son off early and pick him up later so my husband and I can both work. With many options for daycare/preschool in the area, if you choose Ducklings Downingtown West, you will be so happy you did. Your whole family will benefit.

The center Directors Hitesh and Darshika have done an amazing job at fostering such a welcoming environment from the first day we came for a site visit from out of town up through the time we signed our two boys up and to this day. The teachers in pre-k and pre-school have been great, and everyone is always in sync and on the same page. For a center that has only been open for just less than a year, they have managed to work kinks out while still providing families more than enough peace when we send our little ones there. If there is ever a concern, it’s always promptly addressed. They go over and beyond to make our kids environment and learning experience top notch. Love it!
