MEET JACKIE HICKS
Owner of Ducklings Early Learning Center – Lancaster, PA
Jackie, now a proud mom of two grown young men, began her journey with Ducklings nearly three decades ago. From the very start, she stood out as a dedicated teacher, nurturing children and supporting her fellow staff members with care and kindness. Her passion and talent were quickly recognized by the founders, who saw in her a true cornerstone of the growing Ducklings family.
As Ducklings Early Learning Center expanded into the franchise world, Jackie was invited to join the original franchise team, helping build new schools that would become cherished parts of Chester County, Pennsylvania. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to purchase the first Ducklings school in Lancaster—Ducklings Lititz—and she also owns one of the earliest Ducklings centers in Kennett Square, Ducklings Longwood.
Jackie’s love for children, families, and the Lancaster community continues to shine at Ducklings Lime Spring, where she looks forward to creating lasting relationships with the kind, friendly families at the heart of this vibrant community.

Located in the Lime Spring community, just west of Lancaster city and close to Rohrerstown and Millersville, Ducklings Lime Spring is part of the Hempfield School District, serving East Hempfield Township and surrounding areas. Our center offers a nurturing, engaging environment where young children can grow, explore, and learn through play. We look forward to welcoming your family!
